INEC declared Governor Godswill
Akpabio winner of the Saturday Senatorial election in
Akwa Ibom North West district. Gov Akpabio in a
landslide victory polling 422,009 of the 439,449 valid
votes to defeat Chief Inibehe Okorie of the APC who
scored 15,152.
